I'm back!

Christmas is around the corner and Karis is ready to celebrate being three in just a few weeks. The past year has been significant in so many ways, yet the context and the backdrop of the significance has been in performing the day to day duties of doing family and raising two little ones. There are so many moments to cherish, moments I wish I could re-do, and priceless lessons that I learn on this journey that I am going to make more of an effort to chronicle them.
Both of the girls are growing so fast. Karis is talking up a storm and amusing and amazing people with her quick wit and analytical nature. Lydia is babbling a lot and showing signs of understanding quite a bit of what we say. Mike continues to be the wonderful husband that I don't deserve. Looking forward to sharing and more frequently.
It has been impossible to get a picture of the four of us looking at the camera. I really want to get Christmas cards out, but I'm not sure it will happen this year.
